Ages 18 to 25. Identity, burnout, executive function, and the parts of adulthood nobody explained.

Therapy for young adults, ages 18 to 25
This stretch of life gets described as freedom, and it rarely feels like it. Work, study, money, moving out, moving back, relationships, and the growing suspicion that everyone else received instructions you did not.
Therapy here is practical as well as reflective. We look at what is actually happening in your week, not only how you feel about it.
“Everyone else got a manual and you are reverse-engineering it in public.”
What we work on
Executive function: the gap between knowing what to do and being able to start.
Identity, out loud: gender, sexuality, and the version of yourself you are around different people.
Burnout: including the kind that follows a late diagnosis, when the coping strategies stop working.
Relationships: boundaries, conflict, and telling apart a bad fit from a fixable problem.
Family: staying connected to people who do not entirely understand you, when you want to.
How it starts
A free fifteen minute call, phone or video.
A first session with no agenda except working out where to begin.
Weekly or every other week, 50 minutes, in person or online.
Practical work between sessions only if it helps you, never as homework to be marked.
A note on late diagnosis
If you have recently been told you are autistic or have ADHD, or you strongly suspect it and have not pursued an assessment, that is a normal reason to be here and not something you need to prove first.

Start Here
A free 15 minute call, by phone or video, whichever is easier. No intake forms before it, and no pressure to book anything after it.
