About me
PLACEHOLDER BIOGRAPHY. Natalie's training, licence, years in practice and route into this work go here, in her words. Nothing in this paragraph has been invented, because a clinician's credentials are not a thing to fill in speculatively.

“You should not have to teach your therapist who you are before you can get any help.”

My Commitment
I will not ask you to mask, to make eye contact, or to sit still to prove you are listening. I will not treat being queer or being neurodivergent as the problem we are solving.

Confidentiality, explained first
You find out exactly what is private and what is not at the START, not after you have already said it. The legal exceptions are explained in plain words, and if we ever reach one I tell you rather than going around you.
No translation work
You are not spending your session teaching me vocabulary. Queer, trans, nonbinary, autistic, ADHD: I know the words, so we can use the time on what you actually came for.
Your report is evidence
What you say about your own experience is where we start, not a claim to be verified. That includes self-identified neurodivergence and it includes what you know about your own body.
No performance of listening
Eye contact is optional. So is sitting still. Fidget, pace, draw, or write it down instead of saying it out loud. None of it is read as resistance.
Honest about fit
If I am not the right therapist for you, I will say so and help you find someone who is. That is a better outcome than a standing appointment that is not working.
